History

Located in Connecticut, Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park is the former home of Fort Griswold, which played an important role during the Revolutionary War. It is the location where infamous traitor to the United States, Benedict Arnold, killed numerous Americans on his quest to help and aid the British in the war after leaving the Americans. The installment was then used later in the the War of 1812, WWI and WWII.
